Laura Summerville: Exceptional Italian Dining Experience Awaits You

I hosted my daughter’s in law baby shower at Laura’s! It was just beautiful. The private room was perfect, the food was delicious and the our server, Vicky, was wonderful. We had 2 gluten free/allergy restrictions guests and they were well take care off also.

Flavorful and delicious food. Well crafted. I usually add salt to everything, I didn't have to here. I had the stuffed ravioli, lemony and delicious. I'm visiting from put of town. But would love to go back and try the lasagna. Well... I went back a second time lol. This place does not miss on flavor, quality, portions and customer service. Visiting from Texas, this place is a real treat.

I meant to leave this review after my first visit in March. This place should have a 5 star rating. PHENOMENAL. As a huge foodie with a major sweet tooth, Laura’s exceeded my expectations. Lasagna a la “Laura” - the best lasagna I have ever had. Cassarecce “Laura Bolognese” - chef’s kiss!!! What really blew my mind was the Semi Freddo!! I’m a well-traveled individual. I’ve tried a lot of good food - dessert included. The Semi Freddo is hands down the BEST dessert I have ever had. I can’t stop thinking about it (haha). Will be returning in a week for my friend’s birthday (who also has a sweet tooth), and I cannot wait for her to try it. Love Laura’s and highly recommend!!!!

Had a perfect birthday dinner with my family last night. Working in F&B naturally makes me hyper aware of the details and y'all nailed it. Great drinks and food and excellent service. Being handed a birthday card signed by staff was a perfect touch. Thanks for a great time!

There are absolutely no words and we travel to Italy regularly and half of our family is Italian and I have never in the United States had such amazing authentic Italian food as I did here at Laura‘s in Summerville SC. I will be back. And my server ( Ray ) is fabulous! The scallops are out of this world :)

Thank you Tom for being polite and attentive and going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience! Food is savory and has a perfectly balanced seasoning. I had no wait time and sat immediately, (Sunday @3) every recommendation Tom gave me was top-tier. I sat outside the patio and everything was clean and elegant. I recommend “Mezcal e Melone” drink if you are into mezcal. Try the Tiramisu if you have room for dessert! <3

So we were very excited for date night. Server was very knowledgeable . She talked thoroughly about all of the food and my husband settled on the chicken parmigiana which was not traditional. It was supposed to be stuffed with mozzarella. When I hear that I think Yount the chicken and the cheese oozes out. Not so very minimal cheese, no sauce and a little on the dry side and unfortunately not a lot of flavor. The biggest disappointment was no substitution ie, gnochietti for spaghetti. We had to purchase a side of pasta to the tune of $18.00! ! I got the agnolotti, not bad but I was very very disappointed in the fact that the menu online said broccoli rabe and it was served with cauliflower. Asparagus would have been nice the plate definitely lacked color. My side of shrimp that I purchased was flavorful and we end the Bianca pizza as an appetizer.

Our order was ready at the specified time and the staff was nice. We got the lasagna, Bolognese and the focaccia with ricotta cheese. The portions were good sized the flavors were nice but the focaccia was dry and clearly not baked today. It had day old texture. It was disappointing.
